The Laurels is a supported living service, which provides support for four people who are autistic or have a learning disability.
We are located in Bedfont, Feltham. The Laurels forms part of Priory Supported Living London & Home Counties, falls within the London Borough of Hounslow local authority area and is managed by the housing provider Inclusion Housing. The home is within walking distance from the high street.
Our specialist team support our tenants to be independent and help them identify their strengths and aspiration so they can be part of the community and lead healthy, happy lives. At The Laurels, we are committed to reflecting the guidance of The Reach Standards in everything we do. This means we work with our tenants to ensure they receive the right support to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

About our service
Our facilities and environment
The Laurels is a large five bedrooms detached house. The house is surrounded by two beautiful gardens, one at the front and one at the back.
There are four bedrooms for tenants in the main building. There are two on the ground floor, and three on the first floor, one of which is a staff sleep-in room. On the first floor, there is a shower room with a toilet, a separate toilet, lounge and kitchen. There is also a shower room with a toilet on the first floor too. There is a separate office for staff in a small building at the rear too.
Communal areas include:
- Lounge
- Dining room
- A fully equipped utility room, complete with laundry facilities
- Garden
We also have assistive technology within the home, such as a sensory mat. There is no wheelchair access.
Our bedrooms
All of our rooms are comfortable, welcoming and can be personalised to individual tastes.
Parking
We offer free on-site parking for visitors and staff at the property.
Our approach to support
Everybody who lives at The Laurels has their own person-centred support plan, which is co-produced with input from the individual, their family members and professionals.
We aim to enable each tenant to make their own choices about the support they receive. This may include support in a number of areas, such as maintaining a tenancy, personal care, and support with household tasks such as budgeting, shopping and domestic tasks.
We offer specialist support in:
- Learning disabilities
- Epilepsy
- Down Syndrome
- Diabetes
In addition, our team receive specialist staff training, bespoke to the needs of each individual we support. This includes epilepsy training and diabetes management training.
Activities
Everyone who lives at The Laurels is supported to pursue their own interests and hobbies, both in and outside the home, and are encouraged to take part in activities which are meaningful and fulfilling to them.
We focus on supporting tenants to grow their independence. For some people, this may mean developing their daily living skills within their home. For others, this could be accessing work or educational opportunities in the local community.
We also support our tenants to access:
- Local social clubs
- Volunteering opportunities
- Hobbies and interests such as the cinema, gym, swimming or bowling
- Activities and events in the surrounding areas

Our tenants are encouraged to be as independent as possible, to try new things and step out of their comfort zone. They are included in the continuous improvement of the care they receive, and we take into account their feedback and their family’s.
