MEDIAN Group, the leading pan-European provider of mental health, specialist care and rehabilitation services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Christian Göseke as its Group Chief Financial Officer.
MEDIAN Group comprises Priory in the UK, MEDIAN in Germany and Hestia Health in Spain, with 31,000 colleagues and 400 facilities across the three countries.
Taking up the role from 13 April 2026, Dr Göseke will form part of the MEDIAN Group Management Team and oversee the finance and controlling, legal and compliance, IT, M&A and ESG functions. He takes over from Matthias Oehmicke.
Dr Göseke has decades of experience in senior leadership roles within international organisations, most recently as Group CFO of public transport operator Arriva, where he played a key role in the company’s successful sale from Deutsche Bahn AG to a private equity firm.
Prior to this, he was Group CFO at Swissport International AG, based in Switzerland, where he financed and refinanced €1.4bn. He has also held the role of Managing Director for Gate Gourmet, part of Gate Group, and a senior leadership position at Wincanton, at time when the company sold its overseas business to Rhenus AG.
