Meet Scotty
The artist behind our find your way campaign
As part of our find your way campaign, Priory worked with professional illustrator Scotty to bring the campaign to life through a series of original illustrations.
The campaign is designed to highlight the support Priory can offer to people who are struggling with their mental health, particularly in response to modern-day challenges many of us face.
For Scotty, the campaign had a personal meaning. Having experienced his own challenges with mental health, he understands how important it can be to talk openly and get the right support.
Around three years ago, Scotty’s mum sadly passed away, which he describes as a very dark time in his life. During this period, being able to talk through his thoughts and feelings with a trained professional made a real difference.
For Scotty, this support was not only important for his mental health, but for his physical wellbeing too. It’s one of the reasons he feels strongly about the importance of mental wellbeing, and why the find your way campaign felt so meaningful to be part of.
The inspiration for Scotty’s illustrations came from both his own personal experiences and the artwork submitted by patients and colleagues, through Priory’s internal competition.

This collaborative approach brought together voices and ideas from across Priory, helping to shape the creative direction of the campaign.
Scotty said he had never worked with a company before that invited so much input from its patients and colleagues. For him, this helped create something that felt authentic, relatable and rooted in real experiences.
A message from Scotty:
You just never know who might see it. It could be a family member, a friend, a neighbour or someone in your community. They might just feel less alone.
