Rebekah Cresswell recognised among the UK’s leading figures in social care
Announcement follows her number one ranking in the Care Home Professional Power List 2026
Priory CEO also shortlisted for Executive of the Year at the Leaders in Care Awards
Priory Chief Executive Rebekah Cresswell has been named in the Social Care Top 30 2026, which recognises some of the most influential leaders working across the UK social care sector.
The Social Care Top 30 now moves to a public vote.
This recognition follows a series of recent accolades for Rebekah’s leadership.
Last month, she was ranked number one in the Care Home Professional Power List 2026, which celebrates those who have made a significant contribution to social care.
This was followed by her being named a finalist for Executive of the Year (Care Homes) at the Leaders in Care Awards 2026.
Rebekah said: “I’m delighted to have been named in the Social Care Top 30 alongside so many leaders who are achieving great things despite the significant and constant challenges facing the sector.
“Working-age adult social care plays a vital role in helping people live fulfilling, independent lives, and I’m proud of the work colleagues across Priory are doing every day to strengthen quality, outcomes and choice for the people we support.

Rebekah, a nurse by background, has more than 30 years’ experience in health and social care across the independent sector and the NHS. She has been Chief Executive of Priory since 2021.
Her career has focused on quality improvement, governance and operational excellence, and she has consistently championed stronger collaboration across health and social care through her work with Care England, parliamentarians, policymakers and representative bodies.
Priory is the UK’s largest independent provider of mental health, addiction and working-age adult social care services.
