Eating disorder inpatient service
Set within extensive grounds and woodland, Rivendell Unit is able to care for 14 young people within its dedicated inpatient adolescent ward. The safety and wellbeing of every patient is our utmost priority.
Our specialist team of clinicians work with young people to provide individually tailored care programmes, which address the physical symptoms of the eating disorder as well as any related psychological issues which may have contributed to its onset.
This is carried out in one-to-one and group therapies in addition to a comprehensive range of creative and educational groups, which address key psychological issues such as:

In addition to therapeutic gardens, kitchen facilities and relaxation programmes, we work with the young person’s school or college to provide a comprehensive educational programme with accredited on-site assessment facilities. This enables the young person to continue with their academic studies as seamlessly as possible.
