What is outpatient treatment?
Outpatient treatment consists of you attending one of our Priory sites to receive therapy for your mental health concerns, which are usually hourly sessions that take place on a weekly basis. With evening and weekend outpatient appointments available throughout our Priory network, outpatient therapy can be flexible according to your work or personal commitments, meaning that even the busiest of people are able to access the mental health support that they need. Outpatient therapy can be delivered at our hospital sites as well as through our extensive Priory wellbeing centre network.
Outpatient treatment can be used to treat a wide variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions (addiction service is for adults only). This form of treatment is beneficial for individuals who require ongoing therapeutic input for their mental health difficulties, but their challenges are not severe enough to require more intensive day care or inpatient treatment.
We are able to provide high quality outpatient treatment for both adults and young people who are struggling with mental health problems.
