If you’re asking yourself this question, that in itself is an important step - and you're not alone. Many people have doubts about whether their drinking, drug use or certain behaviours have become a problem.
If you’re specifically concerned about your drinking, you might find it helpful to take our free alcohol use self-assessment. It’s completely confidential and can help you reflect on whether alcohol might be affecting your wellbeing.
For any kind of addiction concern, you can also speak to a professional through our free addiction assessment. Even if you’re not sure what you need, we’ll help you make sense of your options and guide you towards the right next step for you.
Our addiction services are designed to be flexible, and in some cases it may be possible to move between programmes if your needs change. This is something you can discuss during your free assessment or at any point during your treatment.
Any changes would be based on what’s most appropriate for your recovery, and we’ll always work with you to make sure you have access to the support that’s right for you at each stage.
Many private medical insurance (PMI) providers do cover our addiction treatment services, but what's included can vary depending on your policy. The best thing to do is check with your insurer, or simply give us a call – our team will be happy to help you understand your options.
Finishing a programme doesn’t mean you’re on your own. Many of our services include 12 months of free aftercare, usually in the form of a weekly group, to help you stay connected and supported as you move forward.
If aftercare isn’t included in your programme, you can still access ongoing support through outpatient therapy or our digital services - whatever feels most helpful for you. Recovery is a journey, and we’re here to support you beyond the initial steps.
The best way to begin is by booking our free addiction assessment. Our experts will recommend the type of support that’s clinically right for you, and help you understand your options so you can feel comfortable about the path ahead.
Every service is built on professional expertise, compassionate support and flexible access across the UK. Whatever your situation, our addiction services are here to support you, whether:

No, there is no obligation to continue with treatment after your assessment. It is simply an opportunity to explore your options and decide what’s best for you.
Your free addiction assessment takes place over the phone with one of our qualified addiction therapists. During this confidential conversation, we’ll take the time to understand your situation and explore how addiction may be affecting your life. If you’re seeking help for a prescription drug addiction, we may recommend that you see a consultant first to ensure you receive the most appropriate support.
We’ll also talk you through the admissions process, explain how we prioritise your safety and confidentiality, and give you the chance to explore our therapy and detox programmes in more detail. If it’s something you’d find helpful, we can discuss involving your family and friends in your recovery journey too.
Finally, we’ll provide information about our free aftercare services, along with details on costs and payment options.
