Before admission, we’ll arrange a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, ensuring your treatment begins with clarity and focus. This can take place either online or in-person at The Residence, depending on your preferences.

Sometimes, the most profound shifts happen outside the therapy room. Equine therapy is a dynamic and experiential approach that brings together you, your therapist, a skilled horse handler and a horse in a calm, natural environment. Sessions take place off-site in the expansive surroundings of Richmond Park and are available for clients who wish to explore this powerful, body-centred form of therapy. Working alongside a horse allows emotional patterns and behavioural responses to emerge in a way that feels authentic and non-judgemental - offering a powerful opportunity to explore trust, boundaries and connection in real time.
Some memories don’t fade with time. EMDR offers a way to safely revisit and reprocess traumatic experiences - not by reliving them, but by helping the brain find new pathways through them. Using targeted, rhythmic stimulation, such as guided eye movements, EMDR reduces the emotional charge of traumatic memories, allowing you to move forward with less distress and greater clarity.
