WHAT DO WE TREAT?

At The Residence, we offer bespoke treatment for a wide range of mental health, addiction and emotional wellbeing concerns. Our expert-led programmes are designed around you, drawing on the latest clinical thinking, therapies that feel right for you, and a deep understanding of what drives lasting recovery.

If you’re ready for something truly different - focused, refined and built entirely around you - we’re here to help you take the first step. Speak to our team in complete confidence today by calling XXXX XXX XXXX.

While every person’s experience is unique, we frequently support people with concerns such as:

Depression

Do you feel emotionally flat - unable to connect, feel pleasure or care in the way you once did? Are you constantly exhausted, struggling to focus, sleeping too much or too little, or finding it difficult to complete even simple daily tasks? Perhaps you're carrying a sense of guilt or hopelessness that never seems to lift, no matter how much you achieve or how hard you try?

Depression affects every part of life: your thoughts, emotions, physical health, relationships and sense of self. It can be deeply isolating and yet intensely personal, often invisible to those around you.

At The Residence, we understand how all-consuming depression can become, and how essential it is to receive care that’s built entirely around you. Your treatment will be bespoke from the outset, designed not only to ease your symptoms, but to explore and address the root cause of your depression. Through this process, you’ll learn healthier ways of coping, develop new tools for emotional resilience, and begin to rebuild a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Your tailored programme will include evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and carefully considered medication. This is combined with specialised holistic interventions - such as yoga, somatic breathwork and reflexology - as well as the latest advances in mental health technology. Every element is designed to help restore your emotional, physical and psychological balance.

With the right support, life can start to feel manageable again. At The Residence, we’ll help you find the strength to move forward one step at a time, and in a way that truly works for you.

Anxiety

You might appear calm and capable on the outside - but inside, it’s a very different story. The constant tension. The racing mind. The sense that something could go wrong at any moment, even if you can’t explain why. Perhaps you’re always planning, overthinking or scanning for danger. Or maybe anxiety has begun to shrink your world, preventing you from doing things you once managed with ease.

Anxiety can take many forms: generalised worry, social anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts or phobias. However it shows up, it can be exhausting and deeply disruptive to your quality of life. Without support, it can affect your sleep, concentration, physical health and relationships, making everyday life feel unmanageable.

At The Residence, we offer the highest level of bespoke care to help you regain calm, clarity and control. Your treatment is tailored from the very beginning, designed not just to reduce symptoms, but to uncover the underlying patterns that are keeping anxiety in place. You’ll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to manage anxious thoughts and behaviours, while building long-term resilience, emotional stability and self-trust.

Your bespoke programme may include therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), exposure therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), alongside personalised pharmacological support, where appropriate. You’ll also be supported through holistic treatments, including yoga, mindfulness and somatic breathwork, as well as wellbeing activities curated around your preferences. You’ll also benefit from the latest innovations in mental health technology, offering a forward-thinking, fully integrated approach to care.

Anxiety doesn’t have to shape your world. We can help you feel safer in your mind, more present in your life, and better equipped to meet whatever comes next.

Trauma

Trauma changes how you experience the world. It can affect how safe you feel, how much you trust other people, and how you respond to stress - even long after the original event has passed. You might find yourself constantly on edge, easily triggered or emotionally numb. Some people avoid reminders of what happened at all costs; others relive it through intrusive thoughts, flashbacks or overwhelming emotions they can’t explain.

Whether your trauma stems from a single incident or prolonged periods of distress - such as abuse, loss, neglect or violence - its impact can be profound. It can quietly influence your thoughts, behaviour, relationships and physical wellbeing, often without others ever knowing what you're carrying.

At The Residence, we offer a trauma-informed environment where healing is approached with sensitivity, structure and care. You’ll be the only client - free from external pressures and supported by a world-class team who understand the complexity of trauma and how it affects each individual differently. We’ll work with you to process what’s happened, restore emotional regulation and begin rebuilding a sense of inner safety.

Your programme will be completely tailored to your needs and may include therapies such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapies and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). This will be complemented by grounding practices such as yoga, breathwork and guided bodywork, as well as personalised medical support where clinically appropriate. We also use advanced therapeutic technology, including tools for neuroregulation and trauma recovery, giving you access to some of the most innovative techniques in modern mental health care.

Recovery from trauma doesn’t mean forgetting what happened – it means no longer feeling defined by it. With expert support and space to breathe, you’ll begin to let go of survival mode, and rediscover what it feels like to truly live.

Addiction

Addiction can take many forms - from alcohol or drug dependency to behavioural addictions like gambling, sex, work, gaming or shopping. Whatever the substance or behaviour, the impact is often the same: a loss of control, a growing sense of shame, and a life increasingly dominated by something you no longer feel able to manage.

Addiction rarely exists in isolation. It may be linked to stress, trauma, anxiety, depression or unresolved emotional pain. Over time, it can affect your physical health, relationships, work and self-esteem - often behind a high-functioning exterior. You may feel as though you’re living a double life, hiding the extent of your struggle from those around you.

At The Residence, we offer an advanced, medically supported pathway to recovery. We can provide a fully supervised, medically assisted detox from alcohol, prescription medications or illicit substances - ensuring your safety and comfort from the outset. From there, we work with you to explore the psychological and emotional drivers behind your addiction, helping you understand your patterns and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of coping.

Your personalised programme may include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy and relapse prevention strategies. We also integrate holistic support such as mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, and body-based therapies to strengthen your resilience and support long-term change. Medication can also be prescribed where clinically appropriate, as part of a wider, carefully managed plan.

You may also wish to attend fellowship meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as part of your addiction treatment. This is entirely dependent on your preferences and treatment plan, and we’re here to guide you in making the right decision for you. Should you choose to attend, Priory Hospital Roehampton hosts regular on-site meetings - offering convenient access within a discreet and familiar setting, without the need to travel.

We’re here to help you break the cycle of addiction and reclaim control, with care that’s discreet, deeply personal, and designed for lasting change.

Eating disorders

Living with an eating disorder or eating challenges, can feel all-consuming - a constant preoccupation with food, weight, control or self-image that affects every aspect of life. Whether it’s restricting, bingeing, purging or a cycle of behaviours that feel impossible to stop, eating disorders are never just about food. They’re often rooted in deeper emotional struggles, including anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, low self-worth or a need for control.

You may look in control to others, while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected or overwhelmed. Over time, eating disorders can affect your relationships, physical health, emotional wellbeing and quality of life, and yet asking for help can feel like the hardest step.

At The Residence, we offer compassionate, discreet support for people experiencing anorexia, bulimia and other disordered eating patterns. We work with people who are medically stable and have a BMI of 14.5 or above, who are ready to begin a highly personalised therapeutic journey.

Your treatment will be shaped around your individual needs and preferences. This may include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), body image work and trauma-informed therapy, supported by nutritional guidance and structured meal planning. We also integrate holistic treatments such as yoga, mindfulness and somatic therapies to support physical and emotional reconnection.

Our goal is to help you rebuild your relationship with food, your body and yourself, supported by the personalised care you truly deserve.
