About

I am an experienced integrative counsellor, with 15 years of experience working in therapy, providing counselling to people in different therapeutic settings. These include education, occupational health and addictions. I am also an experienced counselling tutor, reflective practice facilitator and critical incident debriefer.

As an integrative counsellor, my approach draws on person-centred therapy (PCT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. I recognise and support the needs of the individual and understand the importance of establishing a therapeutic relationship as central to developing a safe, trusting environment that facilitates growth and change.

I am skilled in working with adults presenting with a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, relational issues, self-esteem, bullying, pregnancy related issues, menopause, loss and bereavement, cultural issues and identity.
