About

Charlotte is the assistant psychologist on the adolescent specialist eating disorder unit. Charlotte has worked at Priory since September 2021 and has previously worked across all three inpatient wards.

As an assistant psychologist, Charlotte supports the young people on the inpatient eating disorder unit and works within the psychology team. She also co-facilitates a regular parent and carer support group, for those with children on the unit. Charlotte takes a warm and compassionate approach within all her work.

Training

Charlotte graduated with a first class honours degree in psychology from Sheffield Hallam University in 2021. Since then, she continues to complete different training to enhance her knowledge, including trauma training and CYP-IAPT inpatient CAMHS training. Charlotte has also volunteered with a charity supporting children and young people with their mental health.

Research interests

As part of her undergraduate degree, Charlotte completed research into the quality of police interviews with children and the importance of non-verbal communication for her dissertation.
