About
I’ve been working as a full time consultant psychiatrist in and around London for more than 6 years. I attained all of my psychiatric training and qualifications in the UK. I’ve worked on the wards as well as in the community mental health teams in the NHS. Currently, I am working as a full time substantive consultant psychiatrist, in a general adult psychiatry community mental health team, for an NHS trust in London.
I have a clinical interest in working with patients affected by migration mental health issues, mental trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I graduated with MSc in War and Psychiatry at Kings College, London.
I’m a clinical supervisor and an educational supervisor for post-graduate doctors in the specialist psychiatry training scheme.
I also have experience in preparing medico legal reports and attending Mental Health Act (MHA) tribunals.
Position at Priory
I am a visiting consultant psychiatrist at Priory Hospital Chelmsford.
