Eleri Lewis is an adult and child psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience in the domain of trauma and counselling services. She is also an eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner, qualified in all levels of EMDR, including working with children and adolescents.

Eleri qualified in EMDR at Worcester University. Eleri’s qualifications include a masters in counselling children and young people, a post-graduate diploma in both cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and consultative counselling supervision.

The majority of Eleri’s work is in the specialist trauma treatment, EMDR.

Her specialist areas are in medical trauma, stress management, attachment issues, sexual abuse, the impact of coercion and control, and traumatic amnesia (recovered memories of childhood sexual abuse/ritualistic abuse).
