About

Emilia has worked in the field of mental health for many years and has amassed a wealth of experience and skills to help individuals improve and manage their mental wellbeing. Specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Emilia is experienced in working with clients presenting with a variety of mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive related disorders, as well as more complex presentations including personality disorders and symptoms of self-injurious and suicidal behaviour. She also draws on other evidence-based modalities including mindfulness and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).

She believes in working with her clients collaboratively, wherein an individualised formulation is used to implement disorder specific interventions, based upon NICE guidelines. At the core of her practice, Emilia integrates a warm and non-judgmental approach, fostering a safe and therapeutic space where individuals can feel seen and heard.

Position at Priory

Emilia is the general psychiatry therapy lead and a CBT psychotherapist. Her role at Priory involves overseeing and managing the team, as well as facilitating individual and group therapy. She has been working at Priory in various positions since 2014.

Emilia is committed to a regulatory framework and follows the standards of proficiency set by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
