About

Emma is an experienced person-centred counsellor and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner. She has over five years of mental health experience working with adults in various agencies and as a private practitioner. Emma is highly skilled at working with a range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Emma feels passionately about the relationships she builds with her clients and believes that making them feel relaxed, not judged and giving them a safe space to talk is of the utmost importance.

If you are motivated and determined to develop an understanding of the patterns you are in, Emma can help you build the understanding and awareness you will need to reduce your distress and psychological difficulty to meet your own therapeutic goals.

Emma joined Priory in 2022 as an EMDR practitioner, alongside running her own private practice. Prior to her career as a counsellor, she worked for over 15 years in the commercial sector and understands the pressure of a corporate career.
