As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, Lorraine’s mission is to create a safe and therapeutic space for individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Drawing upon her extensive training and experience, Lorraine approaches therapy with empathy, active listening, problem solving and with a commitment to understanding each client's unique needs. Lorraine also has experience working with culturally diverse communities.

Lorraine believes in the inherent strength within individuals and works collaboratively to help them navigate challenges, develop coping strategies and cultivate resilience. With a client-centered and evidence-based approach, Lorraine strives to empower her clients to embrace positive change, foster meaningful connections, and embark on a path towards holistic wellbeing. Her aim is to support clients to become a better version of themselves. 

Training

Lorraine has over 7 years’ experience working with a broad range of complex presentations including depression, anxiety, addiction and relapse prevention. Additionally, she has provided support for families of clients with these presentations.

She is also a restorative justice practitioner and has training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Qualifications

  • Psychotherapist (Integrated) Diploma Level 5 in Therapeutic Counselling
  • Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • Acupuncture specialist, registered with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA)
