About
I am originally from an IT consultancy background, where my key strength was explaining complex technical ideas in ways that are clear and relevant to the audience concerned.
My approach as a therapist is very much the same – helping people to overcome challenges and maximise their potential using a pragmatic attitude which is tailored to your unique circumstances. I have worked within a variety of settings including private practice, Morgan Stanley, Transport for London, and City of London Police.
As well as working as a therapist, I am also a keynote speaker and media spokesperson on the theme of psychology, as well as a Penguin published author.
Position at Priory
I joined Priory Hospital Ticehurst House in May 2022, having previously worked at Priory Hospital Roehampton in 2006-2008.
Training
I am trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) and person-centred counselling. I combine these approaches as needed by working in an integrative way. I work with a broad range of issues. However, my specialties include trauma, stress and anxiety.
