About
Sophie is a trainee cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist at Priory Hospital Altrincham. She has completed her Master’s degree and is consolidating her hours to be able to step up to the role of CBT therapist. As a trainee, Sophie supports Priory inpatients on the general programme, completes assessments, attends multidisciplinary team meetings and assists in discharge planning, helping patients to transition to one-to-one or group outpatient services.
With an undergraduate degree in the healthcare field, Sophie understands the importance of a person-centred approach to care.
Training
Sophie graduated with an Undergraduate Degree from Kings College London in 2018 and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at the University of Salford, due for completion in December 2022.
