Colette Miller is a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist accredited by (BABCP) British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. Colette is passionate about Cognitive Behaviour therapy and the effectiveness of this concept in treating patients with various emotional health difficulties. Establishing a positive therapeutic relationship and achieving successful outcomes for patients is important to Colette.

Colette completed a BA Hons degree in Youth & Community Psychology and a dissertation in adolescent depression. Colette also completed an IAPT post graduate diploma at Manchester University in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Treating Children and Adults for a wide range of emotional health difficulties, as detailed below. Colette has a wide range of experience and training from her employment at the NHS including – Dialectical Behaviour Training and EMDR – Eye movement desensitization therapy

Colette is effectively able to treat patient’s presenting with various emotional health difficulties.  Completing comprehensive assessment for patients referred for psychological therapy. Using assessment information to formulate and implement disorder specific individualised interventions, based upon NICE guidelines. Including specific cognitive behavioural models. Practising digitally allows Colette to manage her own specialist caseload effectively to ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient. This includes developing and sharing cognitive behavioural formulations with patients and ensuring treatment goals have been achieved.

Colette is friendly and approachable ensuring a trusting therapeutic relationship is developed this is evidenced in her patient feedback.
