Dr Shaazneen Ali

Dr Shaazneen Ali joined Priory in 2021 as a visiting consultant and offers clinics at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street, with admission rights at Priory Hospital Roehampton.

She now dedicates her time to private practice, thus can offer appointments throughout the week. Her secretary can be contacted from Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.

Dr Shaazneen Ali is a consultant psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry, with over 12 years of experience of practising psychiatry, including her core psychiatry and higher specialist training in the St. Mary's and the Charing Cross Training Schemes, respectively, in the London Deanery. I am passionate about early intervention and prevention work in mental illness in which I have developed a particular interest in promoting good mental health to reduce the chances of ill health.

I work collaboratively with my clients in order to do a thorough assessment of their mental health and then guide my clients to a personalised, evidenced-based and holistic model of mental wellbeing.

Following an initial assessment (which can take 1-2 sessions depending on the complexity and history), a key part of my practice is to deliver individualised psychological wellbeing education. I also provide evidenced-based therapeutic techniques as a toolkit for wellbeing including for example; how to improve sleep.
