Hannah is a counselling psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals and couples on their journey to mental and emotional wellbeing.
With a warm and compassionate approach, she provides a safe space for people to explore their thoughts, feelings and concerns. Hannah believes in a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy, and will work with you to identify your goals and create a customised treatment plan that draws from various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She also utilises aspects of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing (MI), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). When working with couples, she uses the Gottman Method.
She has a diverse professional background, having worked in both a private practice and in a hospital setting, offering therapy to individuals, couples, and groups of all ages while addressing a broad spectrum of concerns.
Position at Priory
Hannah joined Priory in November 2023 as a counselling psychologist at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. She is accredited under the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Hannah works therapeutically with inpatients and outpatients within a one-to-one setting as well as delivering psychoeducational groups on a weekly basis for the inpatient programme. She also works with couples.
Training
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and a Master of Professional Psychology from the Australian National University.
