Our services

At Priory Hospital Bristol, we ensure that you have access to every resource you need in order to achieve recovery, regain control of your life and enjoy the healthy future you deserve.

Mental health problems, including depression, anxiety and stress, can have a detrimental impact on your quality of life. Without expert support, these problems can eventually lead to a range of long-term, negative consequences such as relationship breakdowns, problems at work and other co-occurring mental health challenges.

If you or someone you know is struggling with a mental health condition, it's important to recognise that you’re not alone, and that treatment is available. At Bristol, our highly qualified team can deliver comprehensive treatment for all of your mental health concerns, helping you to tackle your symptoms, address the underlying causes and triggers for your problems, and support you to return to a happy and enjoyable life.

At Bristol, we provide evidence-based treatment for a wide range of addictions, including alcohol and drug addictions, as well as behavioural addictions such as gambling, internet and shopping addictions, all delivered as part of our dedicated inpatient counselling service.

Our addiction treatment programme includes:

  • Free, no obligation addiction assessment
  • A structured group therapy programme, with access to 1:1 therapy if required
  • Family involvement throughout the process
  • A range of established therapeutic techniques and addiction workshops

Addiction treatment at Priory takes place as part of our intensive 28-day residential treatment programme. During your stay with us, you’ll be able to address the physical side of your addiction, via our detox process, before commencing with a structured programme of group and individual therapy. Ultimately, our aim is to help you to become physically stable, address the underlying causes and triggers for your addiction, improve your self-esteem and take steps towards a full and sustainable recovery.

We are dedicated to your ongoing recovery which is why we provide free aftercare for 12 months for everyone who completes our 28-day addiction treatment programme. Our aftercare programme is facilitated by our therapists and includes support groups, access to 12-step fellowship meetings and continuing networking assistance.
