Priory launches new specialist adult care website

Priory Adult Care, which is part of the Priory, has fully launched its combined provider business to the market with a new specialist adult care website.

The new user-friendly website is designed to provide expert advice for families and care professionals seeking guidance and support for adults over the age of 18 years with a range of complex needs including autism, a learning disability or a mental health condition, and older people requiring residential, nursing or dementia care in later life.

There are a number of features on the new Priory Adult Care website such as an interactive location finder, 'mini-websites' for each of the care homes and supported living services, as well as a constantly refreshed section showing current placement availability.

Inspiring user-testimonials and case studies are also available online, providing a personal, first-hand insight from those who use the residential and community-based care services.

On the 3rd April 2017, Priory Adult Care was formed when the Priory Group merged its two adult care divisions, Craegmoor and Amore Care. The new Priory Adult Care division is one of the leading providers of specialist adult care in the UK with more than 230 care homes and 4,500 beds across the country.

Jim Willis, Chief Executive Officer of Priory Adult Care, said: "By Bringing Craegmoor and Amore Care together, this has allowed us to pool our resources in order to better support the needs of our service users and commissioners. Whether we're working with adults over the age of 18 years or older people with a range of needs, our aim is to help everyone we support to lead fulfilled lives and where possible, achieve positive outcomes regardless of age or presumed ability.

"We hope that for those requiring a specialist service, their family members and care professionals will find this website full of helpful news, tips and advice, and we look forward to working alongside them in the future."
